GROT offers a beautiful and eclectic collection of furniture and lighting from the ‘20’s through the ‘70’s. Established in 1995, the central concept of our shop is restoration and reinvention. By reclaiming beautiful woods and transforming traditional and modernist designs with new fabrics and textures, GROT brings a fresh aesthetic to high quality vintage furniture.

As for our name, it was inspired by the BBC series, "The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin". Reginald Perrin was a successful advertising executive whose life had become so relentlessly monotonous; he was on the verge of a breakdown. To save himself, Reggie staged his own death, reinvented his identity, and opened up a shop called Grot.

Each piece of furniture at our shop is hand picked and meticulously restored. It’s sustainable, recycled and constantly evolving. Impeccable design and functionality from the past, reinterpreted for the present.
